I was watching some of those real short video clips on "You Tube" today and when I was done, I was notified that a virus had come in and that "Windows Antivirus 2008" could get rid of it for me. While I was reading this, my Mcafee had already grabbed it and got rid of it. I ran a complete scan on my comp. Completely clean and virus free. And still that Windows Antivirus 2008 continues to pop up every 10 seconds telling me I have several threats, bla bla bla bla, and that I should buy it , bla bla bla bla. Well I don't want to buy it!!!!!!!! I already have Macfee! How do I get rid of this mayjor pest without giving in and buying it? HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT WON'T LEAVE ME ALONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

just to further expand on this matter. the issue with your windows antivirus is that it's spyware not an MS product. As per this link to an antispyware advisory. That link will provide information to remove the spyware program. I would suggest using the manual way of cleaning if your mcafee isn't doing it for you.
